Computer Science and Mathematical modelsThe master programme Computer Science + Mathematics will equip you with knowledge, skills and competencies in software engineering and mathematics.
You will learn techniques and theories to analyse, design and construct software systems: including software engineering methods and principles, computer and system architecture, algorithms and data representation and design principles for man-machine interfaces. You will acquire knowledge of theories and methods for analysis, design and implementation of IT applications: systems development methods and principles, IT architecture, innovative IT applications as a product, service or process and interaction between IT solutions and uses. You will learn about geometry, probability, statistics and the fundamental structures of mathematics.
The programme will provide you with the skills to organise, manage and plan a system development project, including the software component, where especially the development and application of mathematical models and methods are key aspects, and where the focus is on algorithmic formal logic, formal languages and computability, especially for technically specialised software in the field of logistics, operations analysis or database optimization.
The programme offers you a wide range of job opportunities as:
- IT developer
- Programmer or IT architect
- Business Developer and project manager, especially in connection with technically specialized software in the field of logistics, operations analysis or database optimisation
Degree: Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science and Mathematics
