Would you like to work in the field between chemistry and mathematics?

The master programme Chemistry & Mathematics will provide you with knowledge, skills and expertise in chemistry and mathematics, as well as theoretical and practical skills to solve problems. You will learn to use your professional qualifications in complex situations.

You will learn about organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, chemical thermodynamics, kinetics, quantum chemistry, spectroscopy, biological chemistry and physical chemical methods. You will acquire knowledge of geometry, probability calculations and statistics, the fundamental structures of mathematics, as well as selected examples of advanced topics in the field of mathematics.

The programme will provide you with the skills to identify, formalise, analyse, evaluate and solve problems within chemistry and mathematics independently or in cooperation with others. You will learn to understand, develop, implement and evaluate experimental studies, simulations, reasoning or proof, and to understand, develop, apply and evaluate qualitative and/or quantitative models within the subjects. You finish the programme by writing an interdisciplinary master thesis.
