Description

The Royal Danish Academy of Music (RDAM) offers three-year Bachelor's programmes (BMus) and two-year Master's programmes (MMus) in which the students specialise in a particular field or instrument. Following the Master's degree, the graduate is able to apply for admission to the Advanced Postgraduate programme which has the duration of two years, and concludes with a public debut concert.The Royal Danish Opera Academy is also affiliated with RDAM.

Career Opportunities

Irrespectively of whether the ambition is to teach or perform, practical experience will form an integrated part of the study programme. The Academy has practical training agreements with the Danish regional orchestras, local ensembles, the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, the Royal Theatre, music schools and many others. 

Admission 

EU/EEA applicants must attend a live entrance examination when applying to Bachelor's and Master's level. Applicants from outside the EU/EEA must apply online with a recording of their audition when applying to this level.

All applicants to Postgraduate level must attend the live auditions no matter their citizenship.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA. Students enrolled within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

Description

The Royal Danish Academy of Music is the only music academy in Denmark solely specialised in classical music performance. It is a dynamic and vibrant artistic educational institution with a strong international profile that is part of Copenhagen's musical and cultural scene.The large international student body and its international relations provide all students with an broad international dimension to their degree. 

The Academy's programmes offer students performance training at the highest level with the possibility of electives in pedagogical training.
