Are you passionate about natural and cultural experiences, the experience economy and communication?Then the Bachelor of Natural and Cultural Heritage Management programme at Hjørring might be just what you are looking for! The following topics are among those we cover: interaction between humans and nature, cultural forms of expression and the encounter between various cultures. During the study programme, you will be collaborating with the businesses and organisations in the experience industry, politicians and public administration, leisure organisations as well as the local community.
Programme structureThe study programme covers 6 semesters and it gives you an understandig of cultural heritage, natural heritage and the experience economy.
InstructionThe program contains a mixture of team tuition, problem-based learning, case studies, workshops and group/project work. There are two parallel teams per year, one with tuition in English and one with tuition primarily in Danish. There will be some joint activities, i.e. Danish and international students will have the opportunity to study and work together.
DisciplinesDuring the course of your education you will be introduced to the following disciplines:
- Natural Heritage Management; Views of nature, the ecology, natural history heritage administration and management, nature experiences and nature activities, nature experiences and nature activities
- Cultural Heritage Management; Views of culture, cultural forms of expression, aesthetics, art and design, cultural history, foreign cultures and modern cultural development trends
- The experience economy and innovation; Insight into creative enterprises, experience industries and experience dimensions and knnowledge of practice and methods of the experience industries, entrepreneurship and innovation and innovation processes
AdmissionTo be admitted to this programme, you must have an upper secondary education.
