DescriptionLearn about the Danish tradition for professional work within the special needs area. Gain insight into and knowledge about different target groups, diagnoses and/or disabilities and different working methods. The course includes fieldwork and creative workshops.

Career opportunitiesThe course gives you competency and experience in conducting comparisons between professional works within the special needs area in Denmark and other countries. Furthermore, you will develop skills in intercultural understanding and communication as a part of your education.
About the DegreeThis is an exchange programme aimed at UCC’s strategic partners. Hence we encourage you to contact the International Coordinator at your home institution to learn whether your institution has such an arrangement with UCC.
AdmissionStudents must have completed 2 years at BA level before entering the course. The course is in English at BA level - documentation may be required verifying that your proficiency in English match this level.

TuitionStudents within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition. When applying for a course, please check whether your university has a bilateral agreement with UCC. In order to receive an official referral to study at UCC, please contact the International Office at your university. UCC is an Erasmus Charter institution.
Without an exchange programme there is a tuition fee of approx. 3450 Euro (2015 price level).
