DescriptionIn the top-up programme in Software Development you will learn how to design and program large, data-heavy and distributed systems. You will work with all of the various aspects of the software development process, such as databases, contracts, tests, system integration, project management and system development.
During the course of your studies you will be in close contact with the business community and you will, for example, write papers in cooperation with a business. You will also be an intern in a business in which you can try out your competencies in practice. We cooperate with a large number of businesses.
Career OpportunitiesBachelors in Software development typically find work as system developers for large (global) IT projects, and over time find work as architects or project managers for such projects.
You can be employed, for example, as:
• Software developer
• Software coordinator
• Software analyst
• Software programmer
• Project manager
• Quality assurance analyst
• IT architect Employment possibilities are good.
In order to participate in further education, you must complete the elective subject, Theory of Science.
With a BA in Software development, we expect that you can enter into a master degree programme at a university in Denmark or abroad.
top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme
to a related or prespecified bachelor level. The top-up option is only
available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement
with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.
About the Degree
You must have an AP Degree in Computer Science.Please ask Student Counselling if you have obtained similar qualifications in an other way.
Moreover, students from the Nordic countries and EU/EEA countries must have passed English at a level equivalent to a Danish Upper Secondary education C-level.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
