Description

The Multimedia Design and Communication programme is a 2-year programme for students who would like to work with digital communication and interactive design. As a student in the AP Degree programme in Multimedia Design and Communication you will acquire a high level of technical knowledge and have the opportunity to do hands-on work with sketches and tests. 

The programme targets jobs within digital media production in which you will have an opportunity to combine your creative skills with technical knowledge and communication skills.
 
Teaching is oriented towards establishing a broad knowledge base about the processes behind digital marketing as well as giving you a firm grasp on communication strategies and business organisation. You will be working both with design, layout and programming and learn how to design, plan, realise and manage multimedia tasks. 

Career Opportunities  

The multimedia designer is trained to work with digital communication, graphic design, programming and project management. A multimedia designer can combine text, sound, pictures, animated graphics and video so that the message is effectively presented by way of any interactive media. 

Multimedia designers are employed within various business sectors, typically within advertising, marketing, media, IT and the telecommunications sector.

About the Degree

The Academy Profession programmes combine theory with practice and are suited for employment in business and industry. In some programmes students have the possiblity of a top-up degree in which they continue at a bachelor level within a prespecified or related field.
The AP Degree in Service, Hospitality and Services has multiple 90 ECTS top-up specializations resulting in a Professional Bachelor Degree in either Web Development, E-concept Development or Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Admission  

To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing adequate qualifications in Mathematics at a upper level comparable to Mathematics level C of a Danish upper secondary examination.

Tuition

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
