Description

This top-up programme trains you in the latest technological and scientific developments in the fields of chemical, biotechnical, food and process technology. You learn how to transfer and implement technical and scientific results into practical use and can give your degree an international profile by choosing work placement in a country abroad. Graduates of the programme are qualified to work with research, development or production. This could be with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals, chemicals or microbiological processes.

Career Opportunities

With a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical and Biotechnical, Food or Process Technology you will be working with research, development or production. You will typically be employed by companies that work with food, pharmaceuticals, biological, chemical or microbiological processes.

About the Degree

The top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme to a related or prespecified bachelor level. The top-up option is only available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.

Admission

The programme is an advanced studies programme immediately supplementing your education as a Chemical and Biotechnical Analyst, Food Technologists or Process Technologist. Therefore, in order to be admitted to the programme, you must have completed one of these AP degrees.

If you have not completed one of these AP degrees, you will be assessed on your actual competences. Please note that focus will be on the same subject areas as at the Chemical and Biotechnical Science programme. You are welcome to contact us if you have a degree from another relevant higher education programme or similar qualifications; these are subject to individual assessment.

If your background is other than a Danish AP degree, you must also meet our requirements of an officially approved English test.

In addition, documentation may be required verifying that your proficiency in English is at a specified level.

Apply directly at  Business Academy Aarhus all relevant documentation.
