This programme will provide you with knowledge of the technologies, methods, legislation and standards that are relevant in nature protection and environmental issues. 

Teaching is in small classes and is a balanced mix of classroom teaching, project work, excursions, company visits, cases, multi-disciplinary work and self-studies. Contact with business enterprises and commercial problems will provide you with a good understanding of what this industry needs and where you can make your contribution. 

You will be working with assignments and writing project reports based on real business challenges and cases.

Career Opportunities  

Programme graduates are employed in a wide range of jobs relating to informing and teaching about nature, planning and organising nature preservation projects, advisory services, quality assurance, administration, monitoring, environmental supervision and environmental recovery.

You will typically be employed by a local government authority or other public agency, an agricultural advisory service or by a private consulting company. Your main objective here is to act as liaison between practical field work and theoretical desk work as you c
ooperate with farmers, land owners, stakeholder organisations and government authorities. 

About the Degree

The Academy Profession programmes combine theory with practice and are suited for employment in business and industry. In some programmes students have the possiblity of a top-up degree in which they continue at a bachelor level within a prespecified or related field. The top-up degree is a 90 ECTS supplement programme resulting in a Professional Bachelor Degree. 

The AP Degree in Environmental can be combined with a top-up in either Agricultural and Environmental Management or Innovation and Entrepreneurship.


To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing adequate qualifications in Mathematics or Chemistry at a upper level comparable to level B of a Danish upper secondary examination.
