Description

The programme will give you competences that will enable you to participate in the development of technical design and realisation of systems in a distributed environment. It also focuses on the application of widespread methods and technologies.

The Top-Up in Software Development consists of 4 or 5 core modules and 1 or 2 elective modules, an internship and a final Bachelor’s project. The modules deal with various issues related to the development of large data-heavy and distributed systems and are completed as separate subjects. It is your responsibility to create cohesion between the modules in your final bachelor's project.

The programme presents different ways of working, such as workshops, case studies and inter-disciplinary project work. You will work independently as well as together with others. Often problems are based on real-life problems from the business life. .

Career Opportunities  

The competences you acquire as a Bachelor of Software Development will be particularly relevant for companies with a great need for integration of IT systems, in which IT systems are critical to business survival; they will also be relevant in situations where development projects involve various types of outsourcing.

About the Degree

The top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme to a related or prespecified bachelor level. The top-up option is only available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.   

The Bachelor’s top-up programme in Software Development is designed to be a direct top-up possibility to the AP degree in Computer Science. 

Admission  

The Bachelor’s top-up programme in Software Development is designed to be a direct top-up possibility to the AP degree in Computer Science. Therefore, in order to be admitted to the programme, you must have completed the AP degree.

If you have not completed an AP degree in Computer Science, you will be assessed on your actual competences.

Tuition
