Description   

The Automotive Technology programme is designed for people who would like to work with the most recent technology within the field of advanced electronic, hydraulic and automotive technological systems.

The Automotive Technology programme covers the advanced technologies used in the automotive industry, in garages and in racing teams.You learn to use the most advanced mechanical and electronic automotive systems, both in connection with error finding and fine tuning of cars and engines. The programme provides knowledge of conditions that affect a garage or a car importer including finance and management.

Three racing teams are based at Business Academy Aarhus. The cars are used in the day-to-day teaching, which means that from your first day of studies you get relevant teaching, an industry network and contacts in the industry.
 
Career Opportunities  
   
With a solid knowledge of the most recent developments in this field you will be well equipped to handle complex technical tasks in areas within the automotive industry. Qualified as a technician/race engineer you could be responsible for the continuous optimisation of the car – both during and between races - but might also work within the automotive industry working for: importers, dealers, garages, racing teams etc. 

Your future job title might be Technical Adviser or Supervisor; Floor or Garage Manager or Racing Team Engineer.

About the Degree
   
The Academy Profession programmes combine theory with practice and are suited for employment in business and industry. In some programmes students have the possiblity of a top-up degree in which they continue at a bachelor level within a prespecified or related field. The top-up degree is a 90 ECTS supplement programme resulting in a Professional Bachelor Degree. 


Admission  
   
To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing adequate qualifications in Mathematics at a upper level comparable to Mathematics level C of a Danish upper secondary examination and a qualifying examination or qualifications recognized or assessed as being comparable to the Danish entrance qualifications.

Tuition
 
There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students outside EU, EAA, or from Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
