Students will be trained to develop, maintain and renew information technology systems in companies. Future tasks may range from technical problem solutions to the management of projects. The AP Degree in Computer Science is a 2½-year study programme consisting of 5 semesters. An internship in a company abroad or in Denmark will be a part of the programme and will provide you the opportunity to use the competences that you have gained in class and put them into practice. The programme is taught fully in English.

You will be part of an international environment and will have the opportunity to meet students from Denmark, other European countries and other parts of the world.The methods alternate between theoretical tuition, lectures, exercises, cases and projects coupled with individual tutoring. Students will participate in group lectures, guest lectures, exercise series in small groups, and in project work.

Typically you will start your job as a programmer, system developer, It operator or network consultant. Your employer may be a private company or a public, national or international organization.

About the Degree

The Academy Profession programmes combine theory with practice and are suited for employment in business and industry. In some programmes students have the possiblity of a top-up degree in which they continue at a bachelor level within a prespecified or related field. The top-up degree is a 90 ECTS supplement programme resulting in a Professional Bachelor Degree.
