In this top-up programme, you learn how to analyse a design task in relation to a customer's values and goals.You work with design processes, trend theories and innovation from a business perspective. You can specialise in design, production or business processes, depending on your particular interests.

Career Opportunities     

Design & Business graduates work with fashion, advertising & design studios, and/or 
in the areas of fashion design, graphic design, accessories, branding, publication, 
trendspotting and other related fields. They could also start their own design studios.
 Jobtitels as Design Manager, Retail Manager, Sales & Event Manager, Trend-
spotter, Fashion Purchaser, Innovation Manager or Creative Manager.

About the Degree   

The top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme to a related or prespecified Bachelor level. The top-up option is only available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.   


In order to enter the BA top-up you need to have an AP Degree in- Fashion Design
  • Marketing Management,
  • Multimedia Design or
  • Production Design
