Description   

When studying the Computer Science programme, you will learn about databases, programming, operating systems and the organisational context of IT systems.

You will study a combination of software construction, software design, database design, operating systems, IT security, networks and project management and learn how to apply this knowledge to solve various IT problems at corporate level.

After completing the programme, you can continue your studies with a Bachelor´s degree, or you can work as a programmer, IT operator or network specialist in the public or private sector.
 

Career Opportunities     

After completion of the Computer Science programme you will be qualified to work with general computer issues and will therefore be able to develop, update and maintain software and IT systems. You may also continue with a Bachelor top up programme.

About the Degree   

The Academy Profession programmes combine theory with practice and are suited for employment in business and industry. In some programmes students have the possiblity of a top-up degree in which they continue at a Bachelor level within a prespecified or related field. The top-up degree is a 90 ECTS supplement programme resulting in a Professional Bachelor Degree. 

Admission     

General admission requirements for international students include one of the following international certificates:
  • The Danish/French Baccalauréat (DFB), the European Baccalaureate (EB), the International Baccalaureate (IB), the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (OIB) or another foreign qualifying examination certificate that can be equated with a Danish upper secondary school leaving certificate

Tuition 

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students outside EU, EAA, or from Switzerland.

Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
