DescriptionThe programme focuses on the development of web technologies within a number of different application fields and a number of different distribution platforms. The emphasis in this programme is on technologies that enable you to undertake anything from advanced web development projects, where the products are aimed at many different platforms, to the use of multimedia in integrated communication solutions.
Your programme will be composed of a transition module and three core modules. The choice of transition module depends on your qualifying exam. Apart from that, you need to complete two further modules. You may choose among elective modules, adding up to a total of six modules.
Some of the topics covered in this programme: Web programming and backend (for Multimedia Designers); Web programming and frontend (for Computer Scientists); Databases and XML; Interface design and digital aesthetics; Philosophy of science and methodology etc.
Career OpportunitiesThe programme is aimed at employment in R&D departments in companies of all sizes or in large consultancy or software companies working in the web field. Following a couple of years' work experience you will be able to handle superior functions in connection with the planning and architecture of complicated web systems.

About the DegreeThe top-up degree extends an already acquired Academy Profession programme to a related or prespecified bachelor level. The top-up option is only available to a subset of AP degrees and offered as a 90 ECTS supplement with a resulting degree of Professional Bachelor.
- AP Degree in Multimedia Design and Communication OR
- AP Degree in Computer Science OR
- If you hold a certificate from a foreign institution of education or another type of AP degree, this will be considered separately.
All Danish students must complete English at a B-level according to the level system in Danish secondary schools or equivalent proof of English skills.

TuitionThere is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students who hold a citizenship from outside EU/EAA/Switzerland. Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.
