It is important that children learn to succeed in and on the water, and it is important that teachers and pedagogues in primary and lower secondary school are able to handle this job. This means that you are able to provide first aid, and that you are aware of the safety challenges, which may be related to activities in and on water.
First aid and security in and on water are therefore key elements in this course, which enables you to:
- Teach school children in swimming, including completing the swimming instructor education
- Teach and carry out basic first aid in the school
- Teach activities in and on water
- Pass the Danish Swimming Union pool-lifeguard test
