Global Business Engineering is a professional Bachelor of Engineering programme taught in English and set in a vibrant environment of Danish and international students.
The programme places a strong emphasis on science and technology in a unique combination with economics and marketing as well as languages and culture. Focus is on applied science combined with teamwork and project work. The duration of the study is 9 semesters full time. Study exchange opportunities and an internship in Denmark or abroad are part of the programme.

Engineering courses account for about two-thirds of the study programme. Business and language courses make up the last third of the programme.

With the Constructing Architect Degree you will find exciting jobs and excellent career opportunities within consulting or contracting companies - either as a project manager or a construction designer.

About the Degree

Global business engineers operate primarily in the industrial market, especially in mechanical and IT-related industries. You are likely to find management and middle management jobs within design and implementation of technical solutions as well as within marketing and sales. Typically, you may work as a project manager, a consulting engineer or as an export or sales manager.


To be admitted to this programme, you must hold a certificate showing, that you have passed Upper Secondary School or the International and the European Baccalaureates. Besides the educational level mentioned above there is also some specific second language requirements. Read more about this at VIA.

In addition, documentation may be required verifying that your proficiency in English is at a specified level. If English is not your first language, you need to provide documentation of your current English language level. As documentation of your English language skills, VIA accepts the TOEFL test, the TOEIC test, the IELTS test or the Cambridge ESOL test. Read more about the language requirements at VIA.

There is a tuition fee for all full-time degree students from outside the EU, EEA, or Switzerland. 

The tuition fees are:
  • EUR 7.500 for each of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 9th semesters
  • EUR 1.000 for the 8th semester (internship)
Students within an exchange programme are not required to pay tuition.

As Campus Horsens offers 11 programmes taught in English within the fields of architecture, engineering, marketing, management and business. In Danish Campus Horsens offers 14 programmes within the fields of engineering, architecture, built environment, production, marketing, management, nursing and pedagogy.
With all of these programmes offered in both languages, it is only natural that a large number of students come from other countries than Denmark. At Campus Horsens, approximately half of the students are international, either exchange students or full degree students.
