Biotechnology
You will be introduced to subjects such as Bioinformatics, Protein purification and analysis and Cultivation of microorganisms in bioreactors. Modern biotechnology is used to refine microorganisms, plants and animals so they acquire desired traits or produce designed compounds, for example specific recombinant proteins.
Business, Language and Culture
In the programme, you learn both language and economics. You will also study foreign cultures and the problems or challenges that an international corporation may have to face. You learn to analyse, assess and solve tasks in connection with corporate international activities.
Chemistry (Engineering)
In this programme you can specialise in either materials science or biotechnological process control. You will get insight into e.g. chemical metallurgy or physical chemistry. You will learn e.g. how to use mathematical and chemical knowledge in connection with development of products or production methods.
Communication Design
On the English language Master of Communication Design, you will learn to work with the design of documentation, for example, manuals or user guidelines. You can choose between English, German or Danish as a foreign language. The degree will qualify you to work in both the public and private sector, where you will work with communication, e.g. development and editing of text.
Computer Science
This programme provides you with a broad comprehension of how IT systems function. You will learn how to construct and implement large computer systems. You will be able to work in areas such as bioinformatics, cryptology, computer game programming, industrial optimization, and online algorithms.
Environmental Biology
You will be introduced to subjects such as Ecotoxicology, Ecological systems and Ecophysiology. You will learn to analyse biological processes in an ecological context and gain fundamental knowledge of how organisms are structured, and how they coexist with their surroundings.
Global Management and Manufacturing
The subjects areas are e.g. supply chain management, international orientation and personal competencies. Furthermore, you will join a company for a six month internship. With this programme you will qualify to work with the development of business and products as well as communication and computer technology.
Innovation and Business
During this programme you will learn to manage the process from developing new concepts to planning, managing and implementing your own business concept. The goal of the programme is to produce idea and product developers with great technical knowledge and a good sense of business.
International master in Entrepreneurship, Education and Training, IMEET
This programme gives you insight into theories about entrepreneurship combined with new participatory and action-based learning models. Through both theory and field work you will develop your ability to teach and councel other people in entrepreneurship.
International Tourism and Leisure Management
This programme contains courses in language and culture plus economics including international economics, marketing, organisation and management. You will learn to communicate in English or German and gain insight into European social conditions, communication and tourism.
IT Product Design
In this programme you study the design process and develop techniques to engage the users, and you learn how to design IT products that focus on people and their needs. You can take single courses within the programme or graduate from the entire programme with the academic title of Master of Science.
Mathematics
You will be introduced to subjects such as advanced linear algebra, mathematical analysis, fundamental mathematical structures, geometry probability calculations and statistics. You will learn to think logically and abstractly with the help of mathematical methods and terms.
Mechatronics
This programme is about nanotechnology, embedded systems and dynamic mechatronic systems that are used in e.g. DVD players and digital cameras. You will gain insight into the development of intelligent and user-friendly procucts and learn how to work with the technical development of a company.
Mechatronics (Engineering)
You will learn about the development of intelligent and user-friendly products by use of mechanical, electronic and software-based solutions. In the master programme you will specialise in User-Oriented Design, Software Engineering or Mathematical Modelling.
Middle East Studies
You will be introduced to subjects such as history, culture and politics, for example the founding of the Palestinian parliament, and sociology e.g. the conditions of the refugees in Arab refugee camps. The programme also involves lectures, classroom instruction and project work in groups.
Molecular Biology
You will be introduced to subjects such as Gene splicing, Microbiology, Genetics and Biochemistry. You will learn about the composition and function of proteins, gene structures, organisms' immune systems, and you will be able to answer questions on, for example how cancer can be prevented and treated.
Physics and Technology
In this programme you will study the development and use of new forms of technology within either acoustics, optics or material design. The 2-year MSc-programme focuses on the areas of communication, information technology and intelligent sensors, and you can also follow single courses individually.
Public Health
You will learn about subjects such as methodology, social science and health science. The programme focuses on the health of the population as well as social welfare. Through the different subjects you will gain insight into e.g. public health science theories and learn how to work with public health problems.
Robotics
In this programme you will learn about the robotics development of the future, for example personal service robots, modern industrial robots and the design of the car of tomorrow. It combines the computer scientist's knowledge in programming and the engineer's insight in machines and equipment.
